The Process
The Ultra Pure purified water dispenser utilizes a multi-stage, state of the art treatment technology including REVERSE OSMOSIS to bring you a better tasting, salt and chlorine free drinking water that is one of the purest forms of water available anywhere in the world.
REVERSE OSMOSIS is one of the greatest technological discoveries of the twentieth century. The process is being used in hospitals and laboratories around the globe; in the manufacture of delicate microprocessor chips, etc. - in situations where only the highest quality water will do.
REVERSE OSMOSIS was made famous during the Gulf War when large truck-mounted units were shown making hundreds of thousands of gallons of pure drinking water each day from sea water to satiate the thirst of the coalition forces.
In the REVERSE OSMOSIS process, water molecules are forced, under pressure, through a special membrane, leaving larger molecules and contaminants behind to be flushed away. This process will remove 98%, or even more, of contaminants such as mineral salts, metals and organics that may be present in the water supply.
In addition to this exciting technology, Dyna-Pro Environmental incorporates several additional technologies in the Ultra Pure purified water dispensing system to assure the customer of the highest quality and taste no matter where in the world you buy Ultra Pure water! For example, a patented, multi media pre-treatment process is incorporated, that in conjunction with granular activated carbon removes up to 90% of potential contaminants from the water BEFORE it gets to the heart of the purification system, which is, of course, the REVERSE OSMOSIS system.
The REVERSE OSMOSIS membranes capably remove almost 100% of what may be left in the water. Finally the water is passed through a final stage filtration and Ultra-Violet sterilization just prior to being dispensed into your container. It's like purifying purified water! The result is Ultra Pure water.
