IGA Supports Lakefield Trail Again!

Ross Bletsoe, owner of the Lakefield IGA, recently donated the $271 raised in a raffle at his store to the Lakefield Millennium Trail. Bletsoe, who raffled a limited edition Wayne Gretzky poster, presented it to winner Terry Schizkoske in early August. (photo)

Maureen Hughes, Chair of the Fundraising Committee, accepted the cheque from Lakefield IGA employee Dan Wingett and thanked Mr. Bletsoe and his staff for their on-going support of the Lakefield Trail Project. (photo)

To date, $134,000 has been raised toward the $150,000 community goal. Donations, of any size, can be made at the Municipal Office, 652-3381. The trail is scheduled to be completed by December 2000.
